Its my favourite trackbike at my favourite circuit
Phakisa's fast and flowing nature means you can keep the engine on the boil for long, resulting in a mesmerising rhythm that is very addictive
Also at Phakisa, the '08 R6 took a bit of time to get into. I was rusty and that fly-by-wire throttle was just too sensitive
I look better on the matt black one, don't you think?

The previous 'Blade at Killarney. It was a windy day on a bumpy surface. I know, it's no excuse for the obvious lack of commitment
The '08 'Blade at Killarney. Much closer to a 600, it makes the old one feel like a long, overweight cruiser
Still, I miss my '08 'Blade. Here at Kyalami; a more difficult, technical circuit that takes time to master. But with practice, I started to enjoy it

An unlikely trackbike, the BMW 800ST's lack of revs is compensated by its agility

However, it actually suited the short Swartkopz circuit much better than a 1000cc for example

Kyalami again, this tim eon my longterm Fazer. The riding position is not ideal for hanging off, but that screamer of an engine makes up for it. Especially with free-flow pipes.
